Hi Everyone,
I’m currently reading a beautiful anthology, THE ART OF LOSING, edited by poet Kevin Young. It’s a collection of poems about grief and healing, assembled after the sudden death of Young’s own father.
Young is also the prolific author and editor of many stunning volumes of poetry as well as a teacher and museum director. He’s the embodiment of the idea that writers are witnesses to their times. Young does so from the richest, most intimate of scales to the troubling landscapes of the larger worlds he navigates.

And here’s a recent PBS interview:

Enjoy!

Thank you Cristina for introducing me to this author. I'm especially interested in his nonfiction!
