Recommending Books: MEN WE REAP by Jesmyn Ward

I’m pleased to announce a new Las Dos Brujas feature—occasional recommendations of books I love! And I hope you’ll post your favorites, too, in the comments section.

First up is Men We Reap, a stunning, devastating memoir by Jesmyn Ward. Many of you may know her from her gorgeous novels (Salvage the Bones; Sing, Unburied, Sing) but this memoir has lodged itself in my heart.
