Hi Everyone,
I consider this required reading for all of us. Please take a look and get involved, if you can. Every authoritarian regime in history has banned and burned books!

PS: FYI, my first novel, Dreaming in Cuban, has been banned in school districts in Florida. Arizona, and elsewhere.
I try to be measured in my language about the topic of banned books. I don't always manage to do it but I've been pretty good so far. Still, this topic has exponentially increased my foul language quotient in both English and Spanish. I'll leave it there, carajo! But my official response is, I'm sorry Dreaming in Cuban made this list. I'm sorry for the narrow-minded, idiots who insist on trying to blind our children to the realities of life. That said, given the books that are continuously added to that list, I would count myself honored to share that distinction with you.
