Hi Everyone,
I’m thrilled to announce the world premiere of my new play THE PALACIOS SISTERS (“Las Hermanas Palacios”) at Teatro Gala in Washington D.C. It’s an adaptation of Chekhov’s “Three Sisters” but set in turbocharged 1980s Miami—with the music to match.
The show opens on Saturday Feb. 3rd with a blazingly talented international cast performing in Spanish with English surtitles. Director Adrian Alea has been working with our creative team—actors, set design, costumes, everything—to perfection. I spent the first week of rehearsals in D.C. and just left yesterday and I’m in complete awe!
If you’re going to be in the DC area in February (the show runs all month), please come on by. I’ll be there on opening weekend and doing talkbacks on Friday Feb. 2nd (preview) and Sunday Feb. 4th (matinee).
And for all Las Dos Brujas subscribers, here’s a special discount link for $20 tickets (regularly $35-$48) for any performance except 2/3:
