Writing prompt #85: EMBRACING THE IMPOSSIBLE
Hi Everyone,
I remember the first time I read the Greek myth of the Trojan Horse, and imagined that I, too—like the citizens of Troy—would’ve believed that it was a gift horse. The citizens’ inability to imagine something that had not happened before made them vulnerable, lethally so, and their city was destroyed.
YOUR PROMPT: Increase your capacity for the impossible by simply imagining something that hasn’t happened before—at least not in the world of your story. It might be a single far-fetched detail, or setting in motion a character’s unprecedented action, or unleashing an inciting event with cataclysmic consequences.
Dare I say: Have fun!
Abrazos,
Cristina
