Thinking prompt #8: DREAMING OF ESCAPE
Hi Everyone,
I just came across this provocative quote in Baudelaire’s Paris Spleen, a collection of his short prose poems:
“This life is a hospital where every patient is possessed with the desire to change beds …”
Your prompt: What would your character(s) change about their lives? What do they dream of doing? Where do they dream of escaping? With whom do they dream of making love? What do they most wish to leave behind (people? places? parts of their past?). How can thinking about your characters’ dreams of escape unleash new clues about what they might risk (or not) in the future?
Happy musing!
Abrazos,
Cristina
