Hi Everyone,

It’s not easy to complicate the bad guys. Their despicable traits are often so loathsome that we’re tempted to let these define the perpetrators to the exclusion of other details. But as writers, we must hold the gaze on our villains as we do our other characters, get inside their experiences (however uncomfortably) to render them fully.
