Hi Everyone,

To what degree are we the stories beneath our very feet? Often, we’re adept at describing the atmospherics of a place, or the particular broodings of our characters—all essential to good storytelling, of course.

But let’s pinpoint place more specifically for a moment …

YOUR PROMPT: Describe, in as rich detail as possible, a street corner, a spot in the kitchen, a hidden part of the barn, etc. where something psycho-emotionally significant took place. Don’t mention the event but imbue your description with the charge of what happened.
