Writing prompt #69: TWO PAGES (Redux)

Hi All,

Every once in a while I like to revisit Abigail Thomas’s TWO PAGES. It’s a tiny, entertaining book of writing prompts. Essentially, it posits that the unlikeliest of juxtapositions can spark creativity. And Thomas insists that you write only two pages, to start.

TODAY’S PROMPT:

Two pages

of looking for something lost in the bedroom

in which you run into someone you hoped never to see again

with three platters of cheese
