Writing prompt #75: YOUR CHARACTER'S WORST FEAR
Hi Everyone,
This will be short, if not exactly sweet!
YOUR PROMPT: First, describe the contours of a character’s worst fear. As Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa wrote: What doesn’t have limits doesn’t exist.
Then write a scene in which your character is: a) overcome by the idea of their worst fear; or b) confronted by their worst fear in actuality; or c) both, one after the other.
Give this a few pages and don’t be afraid to hold your gaze on the scene(s). Even if you don’t end up using this in your piece, you’ll learn a great deal about your character.
Good luck!
Abrazos,
Cristina
