Writing prompt #90: RETREAT
Hi Everyone,
All of us need respites from the travails of daily life, from the obligations and encumbrances that interfere with the uninterrupted time we need to think and write. Well, so do our characters!
YOUR PROMPT: What do(es) your character(s) do to take a break, to get away from it all? Where do they go to hide? To lick their wounds (what are those wounds)? How do they stave off misery? Do they tend toward the destructive? Or the restorative? Write a scene in which one of your characters tries to escape from their worries in a way that reveals something unexpected.
And while you’re at it, make sure you get a little R & R yourself!
Abrazos,
Cristina
