Our newsletter is going strong after nearly three months but I want to be sure that your craft questions are being addressed. Please use this thread to post anything you’re struggling with in your writing right now. I’ll be happy to try to customize a prompt for what ails you!
Above all, please know that you’re not alone and the likelihood is that many of us are wrestling with the same or similar issues.
Happy writing—and I look forward to your questions!
Abrazos,
Cristina

I realized one of the stories I'm working on doesn't have enough conflict. It's structured in such a way that each encounter has to have a greater emotional magnitude than the last. What are some ways to crack open or increase conflict in the mid-section of a story? Can an emotional pivot be enough?

Hi Catherine, Thanks for another excellent question. Let me give this some thought and I'll address it in a writing prompt next week!
Thank you!
