My high school English teachers did a great job of making not want to read poetry for the rest of my life. But I am slowly correcting that damage. Actually, Natasha Tretheway's Memorial Drive is one of the best books I've read this past year. Her lyrical language and amazing imagery seduced me into another time and place and stayed with me for weeks., months, I guess. You can see all those qualities in this video. Thank you for sharing
