I’ve basically reversed -sequenced all my books beginning with Monkey Hunting as an exercise. It’s helped me enormously with time shifts and finding “holes” or excisable parts and makes my subsequent draft cleaner, more unexpected. ☺️
It means, quite literally, reassembling your book back to front for a time. Last chapter becomes first, and so on. Give it a try and see what suggests itself. xox
