What impresses me beyond the images is the ease with which you've transitioned from a literary artist (although, you'll always be that) to a visual artist. Curiosity and self-reflection are so present in these images. It's a true artist who is always searching and creating. Congratulations,

Wow! These are fantastic, Cristina. Thank you for sharing with us! "Curioso" is one of my favorites -- the composition is so striking, particular with the size and pop of the green bird against the stark square background. So happy that you've found this medium.

Wow Cristina! Your images are amazing and absolutely thought provoking. I will be revisiting this page several times to explore more and more of the connections evoked by your pieces. I hate to think of you as retired because your books have been such an important part of my own journey as a writer. However, I see that rather than retiring you seem to be redirecting--your time, energy and creativity. As an artist of a certain age, I totally understand the need to grow in different directions and find expression for a continuously evolving mind. Well done. I will continue to watch you navigate this new direction of your creative journey. I must admit though, if you ever decide to take a detour back to narrative, I'll be waiting with open arms. BTW, your Centro piece stays with me and probably will continue to do so for some time. There are so many layers of me there.
