In Judith Schalansky’s marvelously inventive book An Inventory of Loss, I came across this description: “Her eyes are so deep-set they look as though someone had pushed them back in their sockets.” YOUR PROMPT: Describe a character’s eyes in a fresh way.
Just for fun: Once, this guy who was hitting on me said, “Your eyes are so dark. How can you see out of them?” 😆
